In a grand virtual finale, the 33rd European Film Awards took place yesterday. ŠKODA accompanied well-known guests from the European film industry with its SUPERB iV shuttle fleet on their way to the hybrid event and was the official partner of the cultural highlight event for the sixth time.

In a very special finale to this year's European Film Awards, the European Film Academy presented the popular awards for European film talent in the categories of feature film, documentary and first feature for the 33rd time.

The prestigious film awards took place this year at the 'Futurium' in Berlin, which is also the headquarters of the European Film Academy. Due to the pandemic, the event was broadcast via live stream and was accompanied by several highlights - such as the appearance of German director legend Wim Wenders, who celebrated his last year as president of the European Film Academy.

True to its cultural commitment #skodabewegt - especially in the current difficult situation - the automobile manufacturers drove the renowned guests, laudators and jury members to the Futurium in Berlin with a shuttle fleet consisting of several ŠKODA SUPERB iV.

In addition to greats such as Polish director Agnieszka Holland, who will take over the EFA presidency from 2021, ŠKODA chauffeured other well-known film faces such as Emily Atef, Vicky Krieps, Annabelle Mandeng, Kida Khodr Ramadan, Tyron Ricketts, Sabin Tambrea and Maryam Zaree, who were able to attend the event on site. To make the journey to the gala as comfortable as possible, the elegant ŠKODA SUPERB iV shuttle fleet ensured a safe journey ahead.
